MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF THE BOARD
of the
LIVE OAKS TENNIS ASSOCIATION

                                                               July 14, 2010

Board Members Present – Ann Mosser, Mark Messana, Kevin Lutz, Charlie Perry, Lisa Sailor and Chris Condit. Club Pro Jeffrey Normile was present.

Mark – Presented P & L report. Still reviewing year end financials and visa statements. Still reconciling books to compare with bank statements. Updated current member list which is at 109 members. Sent quarterly statements with club survery.  Will discuss surveys when more have come in.

Charlie – Sprinklers were fixed at North side of courts. Will plant new hedges in bare spots.Discussed timing and funds for re-surfacing the courts.

Lisa – the 4.0 team has organized doubles and dinner on Wednesday nights. Florence Nelson has organized a USTA 3.0 women’s doubles team which will start in the fall.

Kevin – Going to get insurance quote done. Will send updated rules of weekend court usage and guest rules

Ann – Reviewing rules for weekend use and guests. Will update and implement. Discussed Labor Day Tournament and finding sub-committees to organize some Red and Blue tournaments.

Jeffrey – Mixed doubles will be incorporated into the fall Foothill Doubles tournament as well as juniors. Men’s senior team starts this weekend. USTA teams will be starting up again in August. The women’s 3.0 will play on Saturdays at 2 pm and women’s 3.5 team will play on Saturdays at 4 pm . The 4.0 men’s and women’s teams will play on Sundays at 2pm, one playing at home while the other plays an away match.
